TRAZOS Y RELATOS
The "Trazos y Relatos" collection by Rolando Rojas brings together 20 works reflecting nine years of artistic exploration and visual storytelling. Using techniques such as marble dust, oil on linen, and bronze sculptures, Rojas captures his connection to Zapotec heritage, transforming ancestral stories and natural cycles into contemporary pieces rich with symbolism.
The collection's highlight is the Fantasia de Luz Series, an interpretation of the lunar cycle that addresses themes of transformation, balance, and renewal. Each work creates a dialogue between the earthly and the celestial, infused with the cultural richness of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and the artist’s unique sensitivity.
This collection is a testament to Rojas’ dedication to Oaxacan tradition and his ability to connect with a universal visual language that transcends borders.
